Scholarship Fund Running Low!
May 08, 2012
As manager of our student scholarship programs for many years, I have never seen such a huge a rush of students interested in our Atlas Summit scholarships as we are seeing this year. But our scholarship fund is running low. Objectivism's future needs your help!
Our "Becas Objetivistas" international scholarships program has attracted over 15 applications. And applications for scholarships from within the U.S. are surging, too. It costs around $500 to provide a full scholarship with room and board to the Atlas Summit. (And it's not like the students are being treated to luxury: they will be roughing it in dorms half an hour from the Renaissance Hotel.) With donor support, we can also add up to $600 in travel funds to help financially strapped and international students attend.
It's fantastic that the Atlas Summit is proving so popular! But I'm going to have to start turning away promising candidates if the supporters of The Atlas Society don't come through with more scholarship fund donations. And the application deadline isn't until May 18! Did you know that it's easy to make a contribution on our eventbrite registration page?
Where will the future of Objectivism come from but from these students? Won't you help a bright young mind today?
