We're pleased to announce that you can now listen to any article on The Atlas Society website via our automated web reader. Just click on the blue "Listen" icon at the top of the article page to listen to any article over your computer speakers.
You can also download any Atlas Society article as an mp3 file, by clicking on the blue "Listen" icon at the top of the page, then selecting "Download audio."
For our many foreign visitors for whom English is a second language, the highlighting feature--which highlights text as it is read--is a helpful addition.
Click on the "Settings" gearbox icon in order to choose between different highlighting modes and to adjust the speed of the speaking voice.
Participate: If you find a word that is not pronounced correctly, send an email with the related URL and word, to Web Project Manager Sherrie Gossett at sgossett@atlassociety.org. The pronunciation will be adjusted where necessary.
