Sidebar: A Twenty-first Century Plaster Shop
by Sherrie Gossett“Nearly every interior restoration project that Evergreene takes on involves repair of plaster surfaces and ornaments that are loose, delaminating, cracked, water-damaged, or missing elements,” says founder Jeffrey Greene.
Evergreene’s plaster shop restores and recreates historic plasterwork by teaming sculptors who use state-of-the art conservation techniques with artisans versed in an array of period skills, including those popular in seventeenth-century Italy.
Extensive archival research and site analysis are often required. The shop also provides new designs to clients seeking original work.
