Getting Around NYC
The following can be used as a guide for your visit to the AMA Management Center New York. If you should have any further questions, please do not hesitate to call their Customer Service Department at 800-262-9699 or in New York at 212-903-8060.
Parking: Parking is available at the Crowne Plaza (212-977-4000) and at the Sheraton New York (212-581-1000) Hotels. Please call the hotels directly for rate information. Parking is also available at Edison Park Fast, 50th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues (212-765-4726).
Airport Transportation: There is a shuttle available from the three major airports: JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark to the Crowne Plaza at a rate of $15 - $20 per person, depending on the airport. To get tickets for the shuttle you can call the hotel travel desk directly at 212-315-6095 in advance. New York Taxicabs are also available at the airports with rates that can range from $26 - $40 plus toll and tip depending on the airport. Car Services can be contacted to arrange transportation from the airport and Carey Bus Service (800-336-4646) also offers service to Port Authority Bus Station. LaGuardia (45 min to 1 hour ride - 718-476-5072) is the nearest airport, followed by Kennedy (1 hour - 1 hour 20 min - 718-656-7990) with Newark (1 hour to 1 hour 45 min - 201-961-2000) being the furthest.
Getting Around: If you would like information on current New York City events, shows, tours, etc., call the New York Convention and Visitors Bureau at 800-NYC-VISIT or 212-397-8222.
