The Atlas Society’s own Jennifer Grossman is heading to Milwaukee, Wisconsin this Thursday, March 11 to speak at the Wisconsin Forum’s monthly dinner meeting. Titled “To Get Objectivism Taken Seriously, Don’t Take Yourself So Seriously,” our CEO will be speaking about The Atlas Society’s focus on social media-friendly content and the importance of laughter, levity, and a willingness to take creative risks as part of what is missing in modern Objectivism. "It's not only possible to take ideas seriously -- while not taking oneself too seriously," says Grossman, "It's essential. If you're worried about making mistakes, offending the 'wrong people,' or being criticized then you'll stifle your imagination and creativity."
The Wisconsin Forum seeks to bring articulate speakers to Milwaukee to discuss economic, moral, and philosophical principles that have the concept of individual freedom and responsibility. To learn more about their mission, be sure to check out their website HERE.
