About

Brandon Borke

Brandon joined The Atlas Society in December of 2023 as a member of the Development and Fundraising team, building partnerships with The Atlas Society’s vast network of supporters across the country. Brandon fell in love with Ayn Rand's epic telling of creative individuals' final act of resistance against unhinged government bureaucrats. As Rand wrote, "One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted –and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt." Brandon joined The Atlas Society to help ensure Rand's ideas reach more people and keep her narratives firmly in the genre of dystopia and not current events.

Brandon graduated from Northwood University in 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in International Business Administration. A native of northern Michigan, Brandon currently resides in Austin, Texas where he is building a suburban homestead with a flock of chickens and fruit trees. He serves on the boards of The Austin Woods and Waters Club and America’s Future Austin Hub. He is an avid hunter and outdoorsman and loves to spend as much time afield as he can.
