Join us for The Atlas Society Asks Bob Poole on February 23 @ 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET. Robert “Bob” Poole is widely recognized as “the father of the privatization movement” in the United States and abroad. An MIT-trained engineer, he has advised administrations both domestically and internationally on privatization reform and transportation policy. Poole co-founded the Reason Foundation back in 1978 and ran its operations for over two decades. His books include Cutting Back City Hall, frequently cited as a touchstone for the Thatcher administration’s privatization efforts in the UK; A Think Tank for Liberty on the story of Reason; and Rethinking America’s Highways, which explores the history of -- and a possibly better future for -- our highways. Join Poole and our CEO Jennifer Grossman as they discuss Biden’s infrastructure plan, innovations in transportation, the future of privatization, and of course their shared love of Ayn Rand -- and Robert Heinlein. Join the conversation to ask your questions LIVE on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn or register HERE on ZOOM.
