Join us for The Atlas Society Asks Dorian Abbot on March 23 @ 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET. Dorian Abbot is a geophysicist and a professor at the University of Chicago. He was canceled late last year from performing a lecture at MIT by “woke” graduate students, upset with a series of YouTube videos by Abbot where he advocated for academic freedom of discussion and merit-based entry evaluations. Abbot refused to bow down to the mob and has continued to speak out against Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, as it is currently implemented on campus. Instead, he has written several op-eds advocating for an unbiased, individual-oriented framework called “Merit, Fairness, and Equality.” Don’t miss this special conversation with our CEO, Jennifer Grossman, as the two discuss being “canceled” and the status of open inquiry and debate in academia today. Join the conversation to ask your questions LIVE on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn or register HERE on ZOOM.
