Michael Berenbaum is an American scholar, professor, rabbi, writer, and filmmaker specializing in studying the Holocaust. He is the director of the Sigi Ziering Institute: Exploring the Ethical and Religious Implications of the Holocaust and a Professor of Jewish Studies at the American Jewish University. Berenbaum is also the author of over 20 books, scores of scholarly articles, and hundreds of journalistic pieces, including After Tragedy and Triumph, The World Must Know, and A Promise to Remember: The Holocaust in the Words and Voices of Its Survivors.
